Dr. Nader Amer

I was born and raised in Southern Virginia where I completed my undergraduate studies at the College of William and Mary with a B.S. in Kinesiology. While earning my degree, I competed all four years in NCAA Division I varsity swimming.  My passion for helping others led to graduating with a doctorate of physical therapy (DPT) from Hampton University. In 2013, I moved to California San Francisco bay area to begin my professional career as a physical therapist. My first position was in a skilled nursing facility as a staff therapist, where I worked my way up to director of rehabilitation. After leaving that position I partnered to operate a home health and hospice agency servicing the San Francisco bay area and Central valley. While working at skilled nursing facilities and home health agencies, I still had the desire to treat clients in my spare time. I have treated tri-athletes, swimmers, runners, spinal cord injury, and professional athletes. These experiences have led me to create my own company to enable me to service clients in the San Diego and North County areas.
During my career I have developed a philosophy of understanding the full scope of a client's needs and goals, not limiting my services to an impersonal treatment of an injury or deficits.
